SO hey. Guess what? I'm not dead!

I know, I know, big disappointment and all, but hey- that means I'm not a zombie and I'm not here to take your brains. That good?

But hey, time for some old old news. As in, September. (...Wait, really? Wow. I have been dead. o.O) *LadyRiverlark defeated me in the second round of the Exchange. Can't say I didn't expect it; her entry, as my previous journal in August (WHAT) stated, was of much epicness and awesomesauce with a side of pwn-your-face. So she went on ahead into round three, and threw my poor, innocent, helpless little Elli into a giant blender. And then *crystal-rex's dragon Razor came along and said "MM-MM, DOGGIE SMOOTHIE" and went "OMNOMNOM" so now Elli is dragon food and Emily is with a kidnapper, but she has a gun, but they're all gonna die anyway because Booker kidnapped a girl who was in love with a knight so he's pissed which made his companion pissed and his girlfriend the dragon is pissed now too (and full of Elli) so Emily's gonna get eatted by the dragon and they're all gonna die!

And I was giggling the entire time. Is that bad? ...Hm.

Best of luck to Lady in her upcoming round four match. ^-^ If you're not already watching her awesome-possum writings, then get your butt over there and DO IT. RIGHT NOW. Drop the journal, and run as fast as you can to Lady's page and watch her. Because. She's awesome. (For that matter, go to =mippins's page and watch ever single contestant left in the Exchange. YOU MUST.)

I must say that the two rounds of the Exchange that I participated in were fun as hell. Especially the chat rooms (LUV U GAIZ) because there was so much epic being tossed around that it was like its own battle. (I guess the SQAB helped with that.) This is definitely not the last time that you'll hear of me or Emily or (in some freak scenario that breaks the laws of time and space) possibly Elli. Razor'd have to spit her back up though. I'm thinking that, if I have time and my schedule lightens up, I might give *crystal-rex's Astrum Venatus a go. It's really epic sounding- the intergalactic Olympics sort of epic. But, if I am unable to participate in it, I WILL find another one eventually when high school isn't eating my life. *epic music* I SWEAR IT.

And now for the reason that I finally crawled out of the corner to make this extremely long journal in the first place: it was Turkey Day yesterday. And by that, I mean "I forgot to make a friggin' Thanksgiving Day journal, and everyone else is making one, so why am I the only one not on the bandwagon, dangit."

I woke up this morning really late (late for me, anyways, as I'm not allowed to sleep past 9:00 =.= ) and to my surprise, I logged on dA and there was Lady's journal. She had a list of all the people she was thankful for and- I WAS ON THERE, WUUUT? So I said "I must make one of these!" And then I noticed that Nami had made the original, so I linked there and- I WAS ON THERE TOO, WUUUUUUUUT?

So now I HAVE to make one! Because otherwise I would be a stale snickerdoodle in the goodie basket of LIIIIIFE

And without further ado, allow me to add to the length of this journal with a list of epic people.

I give thanks to *LadyRiverlark because she is arguably one of the best writers I've had the pleasure of meeting. Not only that, but we're wifeys and wifeys must stick together! Thanks for putting up with me as I ran from our shotgun wedding and hid and stuff, but still loving me anyway! <3 Thanks for having such wonderful characters and for writing my characters epically (regardless of what I may say to the contrary) and for being overall entertaining.

I give thanks to ~FlickeringThoughts for not cooking me up for Thanksgiving dinner as was promised. (Though I was shot a couple times, but that is forgivable.) Also for making the chatroom entertaining beyond belief.

I give thanks to ~GlasswallProductions for having such a wonderful character for Emily and Elli to face during the first round. I hope I did him justice!

I give thanks to ~Grael254 and the entire Symphony of Storms crew over in Aion for putting up with my nonsense. Thanks to you especially, Kit, for making me feel welcome even when I probably grate on your nerves. And for giving me the most epic mental image ever of Kit flying around clinging to Almveig's hair. That was fun.

I give thanks to ~Spoonzmeister for being one of the few people IRL that I can call one of my best friends. Not only is your drawing epic, but your personality just cheers me up whenever I'm feeling down in the dumps. It's been awhile since we've talked; I'm going to have to change that. Hope everything is good in college-land. :3

I give thanks to ~fancylances for also writing Emily and Elli epically. It was a treat to see another great writer writing up Emily and Elli. Thanks for being such a buddy in the chat rooms, too, even though I must have been annoying.

I give thanks to *crystal-rex for not only being epic, having epic characters, and writing epically, but for not completely losing it over the not-so-epic me. ...And for putting Elli to good use. >.> ... <.< *hides a kicking and screaming Emily*

I give thanks to *tiraldan and ~Tevys and ~Shadow-Warrior-Nami and everybody else that I have met or will meet over in the Exchange chatroom, or the Astrum Venatus chatroom, for being such wonderful conversationalists and entertainers. There's never a dull moment when I enter it. I'll be sure to be more active so that we may talk more.

I give thanks to =mippins and :devscribblykins: and ~bouncymischa and ~BlueLibrarian and ~AlternativeFate and =Tamasha and ~Demoness-Melody and ~AmandaLyn11 and everybody else for hosting the Exchange and allowing me to meet all of these people in the first place. Thanks for allowing me to participate in such a wonderful competition, and for putting up with me when most others probably wouldn't.

And most importantly, I give thanks to the people who have actually taken time to come to my profile page and to read this journal. It's people like you who encourage me to write, and who remind me that I need to get writing and stop being such a procrastinator.

I hope that everyone had a happy Thanksgiving yesterday, and got fat and happy and possibly drunk. But hopefully not too drunk.

Oh yeah, by the way, screw all the radio stations that start playing Christmas songs the week before Thanksgiving.
